Our Board of Governors Election Is Coming Up...

We are soliciting nominations for our next Board of Governors!

The AAWV Board of Governors manages the day-to-day operations of the organization with support provided by the Advisory Council. Every two years, the following officer positions are up for election: president-elect, secretary, treasurer, and student representative. The president-elect serves as vice president for their first two years, after which they assume the presidency for an additional 2-year term. The president-elect, secretary, and treasurer must be active Veterinarian members of AAWV, while the student representative must be an active Student member.

This year's election will occur via electronic ballot at the end of May and all elected officers will begin their 2-year terms in January 2026. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity to get more involved with our organization, please submit your bio and statement of interest no later than May 30 to bog@aawv.net.
